Bobby Brown Arrested

Singer Bobby Brown was arrested in the San Fernando Valley on suspicion of driving under the influence, law enforcement officials said. The arrest occurred at 12:20 p.m. Monday at near the corner of Victory Boulevard and Wilbur Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol officer Mike Harris. Officers pulled him over for talking on his cellphone but then administered a field sobriety test, Harris said.

SANFORD, Fla. -- The nation’s leading civil rights advocates and hundreds of outraged people packed this laid-back lakeside community Monday to demand the arrest of the man who killed African American teenager Trayvon Martin, even as city police sources revealed details of the confrontation that portrayed the unarmed Martin as the aggressor.  Beneath an incongruously cheerful Florida sun, the passionate but well-behaved crowd marched, chanting and shouting, toward the Sanford civic center, where, inside, the City Commission ceded most of its regularly scheduled meeting to Martin’s grieving parents, their lawyer and a roster of civil rights luminaries. Speakers were largely unsparing in their criticism of the city’s leadership and its handling of a case that, to some, has become a symbol of a lingering American racism and a justice system that too often fails black victims of violence.

Dennis Rodman is Sick and Broke!

Dennis Rodman is not faring well these days. The rebounding legend is allegedly struggling with his alcohol addiction and unable to meet his child support obligations, according to ABC News.  Rodman’s battle with the bottle has been documented on the “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” His erratic behavior on “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2009 led to an intervention that included famed NBA coach Phil Jackson and a host of concerned family and friends.

Jamie Lynn Sigler

Jamie Lynn Sigler, who once dated Mark Sanchez of the Jets, is now dating Cutter Dykstra, a minor-league infielder in the Nationals’ farm system. She’s 30. He’s 22. They’re both New Yorkers.
